ICMG Emir Sultan Mosque (Dandenong), ICMG Meadow Heights and ICMG Brunswick Mosque will welcome visitors from all backgrounds, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the mosques and engage in meaningful conversations.

This initiative, organised in collaboration with the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV), aims to foster understanding, strengthen community bonds and promote mutual respect among people of different faiths and cultures.

On the day, guests will be greeted by Imams, ICMG volunteers and members of the congregation, who will be more than happy to answer questions and share insights into the Islamic faith, traditions and daily practices.

We also look forward to welcoming Federal and Local government representatives, council members and Victoria Police, who will be joining us to celebrate the diversity and harmony within our communities.

Visitors will have the chance to tour the mosques, observe prayers and enjoy a friendly and welcoming atmosphere complete with many activities for visitors.

Emir Sultan Mosque (Dandenong), Meadow Heights and Brunswick Mosque opened their doors to welcome a diverse audience from all walks of life. 

The Victorian Mosque Open Day initiative which is organised in conjunction with the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV), aims to build bridges between our community, and promotes values such as mutual understanding and respect. 

The many visitors to our Mosques throughout the day were greeted by Imams (mosque leaders), ICMG volunteers, and other welcoming Muslims from the congregation.

Federal and Local members of parliament, council representatives and the Victoria Police also took part in this joyous day to rekindle the social cohesiveness of our communities, which has suffered since the beginning of the pandemic. 

Our guests on the day were given an insight on the Islamic faith whilst touring around the beautiful mosques and enjoying some delicious snags.
